Humanity in Eastleigh: BUS STATION

When a homeless man in Eastleigh reached out to me, he wanted to share his story to spread awareness and inspire change. We met at a local coffee shop, discussing his journey and our vision for the documentary.

I followed him through his daily routine, capturing raw, unfiltered moments. He slept at a bus station, reflecting the harsh realities of his life. His resilience shone through as we documented his struggles and small victories.

*This is Chris Marshall, who we follow in the documentary.

A year after filming, he found housing, adding a hopeful twist to his story. He now aspires to become a powerlifter, showcasing his determination and strength.

*The authentic and simple style of filming for the documentary.

This project taught me invaluable lessons about filmmaking and human connection. Through the lens of my camera, I aimed to tell his story with dignity and authenticity, hoping it would resonate with viewers and spark conversations about homelessness.

This documentary is a testament to the power of community support and the importance of seeing the humanity in everyone.
